On October 28th, 2016, a dream began. Jesús and Ana Martínez Bujanda travelled for the first time with their father Jesús to Washington State to show him where they wanted to start a new project, a new winery.
The aspiration was to create a winery in a wine region, Walla Walla, which they fell in love with from day one. A unique land that offers extraordinary wines with great personality. A town of incredible people who struggle to make Washington State wines one of the world’s benchmarks.
On April 27th, 2018 their dream came true and they opened the doors of the winery to the public.
Valdemar Estates is the first non-US winery to be established in the Washington State Wine appellation. Since its opening, it has become a reference in the area both for its wines and for its unprecedented wine tourism project.
